1) The film Meghe Dhaka Tara (Cloud-capped Star) takes the audience through the struggles of a family based in a refugee colony in Kolkata with contemporary middle class lifestyle.
2) At places, the film might look melodramatic, but in terms of the substance it handled way back in 1960, no doubt that the film was clearly ahead of its time.
