1) Biriyani traverses through the life of a young married Muslim woman named Khadeeja, struggling to cope with all the challenges appearing her way. And while doing so, she discovers the facets of the heartless society she is living in.
2) Director Sajin doesn’t shy away from showing the rawness of life as it is. Some scenes are difficult to watch but they make sense considering the context of story.
3) Kani Kusrithi delivers a stellar performance as Khadeeja and has all the abilities to haunt the audience for a long time after the watch.
