Short Review:
1) ‘Jalsa’ allows the audience observe the human behavior right from the start so much so that the audience may start relating some of their own real-life experiences.
2) Very apt casting led by Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah is an added merit to this slow-burn intense drama, but for me the shining star here is Surya Kasibhatla (as Ayush) who in real life as well has cerebral palsy
3) Great background music in the film goes well with the nicely placed silent spots.
