1. Based on the novel by Jennifer Clement, this Mexican drama follows three young girls as they navigate adolescence in the midst of violence, drugs, and human trafficking in Mexico.  It seems like a tearjearker film, but when you dive into it you’ll likely see a different pov. 
2. It was selected as Mexico’s official entry for the 94th Academy Awards.
