Why FiC recommends?
1) Apu’s saga cotinues here with a grown up young writer who is found to be filled with youthful vigour, an ambitious unemployed lad with commendable rhetoric over poetry.
2) The way Apu and Aparna’s tender relationship unfolds seems very efforless and unforced in its presentation, but sadly only to witness their romance to be ephemeral.
3) It also marked the debut of remarkable Soumitra Chatterjee & charismatic Sharmila Tagore carving the path for long time collaboration with the director.
